We have recently been inspired by some of our parents and pupils who have completed a relay race around the Wirral, which covers about 40 miles.

As a result of this we felt that at Oxton we would love to be able to support such a wonderful charity by completing our own ‘Race around the Wirral’. In school we will be running a sponsored mile a day if you are in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2; and 2 miles a day if you are in the juniors – we would love it if you could join in at home too and send in photographs or videos to newsletter@oxtonstsaviours.wirral.sch.uk

We are planning to start on Monday 6^th July and complete the
‘race’ by Friday 10^th July.  Mr Ramsden has said that if we hit the target he will shave his hair off on that Friday and it will be recorded!
