Motor Neurone Disease Association · 16 July 2012

We fund care, campaigning and research to achieve a world free from MND

Story

Oxfordshire MNDA branch volunteers support people living with MND and their families whose lives are seriously affected by this devastating condition.

Fundraising and awareness raising is also an important part of our work. The money we raise contributes to equipment like hoists, wet rooms, stair lifts and communication aids. We help pay for counselling, complementary therapies and transport to enable people to join us at our events.

We contribute to the costs of research programmes commissioned by the national organisation.

The branch has a team of trained Association Visitors who keep in touch with families. We also hold regular Family and Friends meetings for people living with MND and their carers. These give people an opportunity to meet with others who are living with the disease, and to share experiences and ideas.

Donating through Just Giving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Just Giving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Your contribution will make a real difference to people affected by MND in Oxfordshire. Thank you for your support.
