Oxford-Bela Bela (and back!), 1 January 2019
International Services (UK) fundraising for IFES World Assembly 2019

Story

Attending IFES World Assembly is the most amazing experience. Delegates see a bigger picture of what God is doing and want even more to be part of it, whatever that might look like, whether in Christian ministry, community service, fighting corruption, in leadership roles in church and society. Being a delegate to World Assembly inspires people, challenges them as they hear how their peers in radically different contexts, or in similar ones have done things differently, or made the same hard choices.

Being a delegate should be a possibility for students from all backgrounds and income levels, so our team in Oxford is trying to raise money for scholarships for 18 students from soft currency countries to attend in South Africa in July 2019. Think about it as us giving the students backies!

Sadly, our bosses won’t give us the time off work to actually cycle from Oxford to Bela-Bela, so we are going to be doing it on the roads round Oxford! Will you help us to get more students to Bela-Bela?
