Story

Following the school INSET day on Friday 29th April, a group of staff are meeting at midnight before trekking up one of the highest mountains in the UK... Snowdon! (1,085 metres above sea level)

The 14.5km epic challenge will see the staff ascend to the summit in darkness ready to see the sunrise. Alder Hey Children's Hospital is a charity we hold close to us as past and present Overchurch children and parents have benefitted from their outstanding care and outreach support available.

The school community is aiming to raise £2,500 with children completing their own challenges! Throughout the week building up to the big walk, each class will combine as a team to walk/dance/jog/run circuits of the main playground - the equivalent of the 14.5km.
