This Charity is extremely close to our hearts as it is the 10th anniversary since we lost our amazing brother-in-law/uncle to cancer. Seeing his care both during his treatment and end of life care is truly inspiring and humbling and led us to be inspired to do this incredibly exciting challenge.

Alice and her friend Molly are also going to do a skydive raising money for this amazing Charity. 

Both Alice and I now work in the hospital and we've seen first hand the difference this money can make in improving the experience and outcomes of patients receiving care and support there.

1 in 2 people will develop cancer as some point in their lives which is why Alice and I have signed up.  This is to complete a demanding 3 day trek up Mount Toubkal (4,167m/13,671ft) near Marrakesh in Morocco. We will be doing this in July 2024 along with 58 fellow trekkers.The money we raise will go to Velindre Cancer Centre to support their work in caring for cancer patients and their families in the Hospital of Hope and we will be joined by one of the Charity's patrons, comedian Rhod Gilbert.

Your donation will help fund 50% of clinical nurse specialist roles, ground breaking research and clinical trials along with children's resources including memory boxes and a £10 donation would fund an educational book on how to explain a cancer diagnosis to a child.
