ٱلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un , "Verily we belong to Allah and verily to Him do we return."
Our beloved nanu / dadu Peara Begum has returned back her lord . We ask Allah SWT to forgive her short comings and grant her to jannatul fedous ameen, we have set up a Sadaqah jariya page for her to raise funds for a water well in Bangladesh so that it will benefit her in the hereafter. We urge you all to come together by donating generously below.
What is Sadaqah Jariyah?

Sadaqah Jariyah means a continuous, flowing and ongoing charity. It is one of the most rewarding acts we can do in our lives as the benefits of giving this type of charity can be reaped in this lifetime and long after we have passed.
Allah (swt) guarantees to record these continuous acts of charity in the following verse:
“Indeed, it is We who bring the dead to life and record what they have put forth and what they left behind, and all things We have accounted for in a clear register.” (Qur’an, 36:12)
The following famous Hadith gives us the good news that even after our death, Sadaqah Jariyah continues to benefit us:
On the authority of Abu Hurairah (ra) that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said, ‘When a person dies, his deeds come to an end except for three: Sadaqah Jariyah (a continuous charity), or knowledge from which benefit is gained, or a righteous child who prays for him’. (Muslim)
And this worldly life is not but diversion and amusement. And indeed, the home of the Hereafter - that is the [eternal] life, if only they knew. Quran 29:64
It is ‘the best charity’
‘The Messenger of Allah (saw) was asked, “Which charity is best?” He replied, “[Providing] water”’. [Abu Dawud]
On the authority of Sa‘d bin ’Ubadah that he said, ‘O Messenger of Allah! Umm (mother of) Sa‘d has died, so which charity is best?’ He (saw) replied, ‘[Providing] water’. He (ra) said, ‘So [Sa’d] dug a well and said, “This (well) is for Umm Sa‘d”’. [Abu Dawud]I
In the above hadith, the Prophet (saw) recommended water as the best charity to give in someone’s name. Every time someone breaks their fast using this water; every time someone wears the clothes washed with that water; every time someone eats a vegetable grown from that water - both of you will be rewarded for that.
It is the ultimate Sadaqah Jariyah

The gift of water can often bring communities back to life through the ultimate Sadaqah Jariyah chain reaction. Clean water leads to healthy livestock, healthy people, more children in school, more women in jobs, improved agriculture and sustainable livelihoods. By building a well in a deprived community, you will get the reward for every single one of these things, in sha’ Allah.
