We support families facing childhood cancer to make sure no family faces it alone

Story

In September 2022, a team of 22 staff and members from Orangetheory Fitness, Derby will be trekking to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro.

As September is Childhood Cancer Awareness month, we will be raising funds for PASIC charity in Nottingham. PASIC support children and families in the East Midlands affected by Childhood Cancer.

The team will be taking the Rongai Route which covers around 40km to reach the summit at 5,896m and will take 7 days.

The trip will be completely funded by those taking part, meaning all donations will go to PASIC.

About the charity

PASIC provide emotional, practical, social support for families of children and young people with cancer in the East Midlands. We fund support workers at Nottingham Children’s Hospital and Leicester Royal Infirmary. PASIC offer a listening ear, advice, grants for families and fun family activities.
