Dear Friends of Spratty,

 

Spratty and myself shared a love of food & wine, sweets and treat, portion size LARGE, with multiple helpings! We shared many a good meal together, accompanied by copious amounts of vino and most recently we had planned on visiting the Secret Larder pop-up, but it never came to pass.

 

Based on that, and the fact that I love to cook, I thought I’d host a couple of pop-up evenings myself, called O’ Sprattys. Essentially this will be me acting as your chef, I plan on hosting 5 events during 2013, I’ll provide gourmet food (hopefully), a five course meal, it’ll be a BYO evening, Troll will be our cocktail mixer and waiter and the only pre-requisite is that ye donate whatever ye feel the meal is worth to a charity page (supporting St Joseph's Hospice) before the evening ends.

 

I’m up for scores out of 10, criticism & feedback, heckling, basically whatever takes your fancy in return for a donation to St Josephs. I’m deliberately not putting a price on the meal as I’m hoping, after cocktails, vino and an amaretto or two, ye’ll be feeling very generous!!!

 

The first evening will take place on Thursday, 11th July, we can host 8 people, places will be assigned on a first come first serve basis and seeing as it’s a school night, we’ll be very well behaved. If the weathers good, we can dine in the garden, these events will be Tottenham-based, (Up the Yids), and I’ll confirm other dates following the first event, if successful.
