As many of you are aware i am an avid rugby player and supporter so i have been somewhat moved over the last few years at the courage of players Joost Van der Westhuizen and Doddie weir in their battle with motor neurone disease. My beloved Auntie Audrey also battled motor neurone disease.When i heard that Fr Julian was going to cycle from Brecon to Newport in support of motor neurone disease , St teilos church where both my grandparents have been church wardens and where i attend church weekly and the place i was baptised and confirmed as well as Bettws chapel i asked if i could join.
