💥 ANNOUNCEMENT 💥 📣📣📣

My StandUp For Stillbirth Challenge

#SUPFSB

Here it is guys!!!!!!! And I am beyond excited (and a little apprehensive!) about this one!

Later this year, in just a few short months 😬........ I will be attempting to undertake a SUP Challenge in memory of Oscar.

Those of you who know me well, know I love the outdoors, and I love a challenge!
StandUp For Stillbirth was an idea I had last year, and I have been BURSTING to tell everyone about it 🤗. And now, thanks to the support and positivity from a few close friends and family, the planning has been done, and I can finally GO LIVE with this.

THE CHALLENGE: To Stand Up Paddle Board (SUP) around the ENTIRE circumference of The Wirral Peninsular!
THE DISTANCE: Just under 100km!
This includes inland canals, as well as the more dangerous open waters of both the river Dee - leading right out to Hilbre Island, and the river Mersey - crossing the busy shipping lanes out on the tip of The Wirral.
THE DURATION: Estimated 3-4 days!

Now, this is no easy challenge. And does come with some risk. I will have one support vessel with me - in the shape of SUP Master Jonny Eldridge 💪💪 He will have radios, first aid kit, and years of knowledge, skills and experience to guide me through the challenges of tides, weather and any unexpected issues the elements may throw at me. (More about this incredible guy in later posts 👀 🙌)

Now, this is not about me looking daft on a paddle board for 3 and half days!! Although I'm sure there will be some laughs along the way - this is about VOICE. This is about STANDING UP FOR STILLBIRTH, talking about #babyloss, raising awareness about Stillbirth and ultimately raising vital funds for The Countess of Chester Maternity Unit where Oscar was born. I want these funds to help provide bereavement care facilties for families who's arms are empty when they leave the Unit 💔😪 and training for the staff who help these families on their journey after baby loss.

There will be a JustGiving page set up very soon and the link will be available in my bio, as well as on all posts related to #SUPFSB.
Please share #️⃣ 🙏 and share this post!!
