Me and Isaac have decided to run the Leeds Half Marathon in support of SolidariTee.

SolidariTee is an international, student-led registered charity working to uphold the rights of refugees, asylum seekers, and other vulnerable migrants. Their mission is to raise awareness of the injustices faced by refugees and asylum seekers worldwide, and further the provision of sustainable, long-term aid for refugees and asylum seekers, especially in the form of legal aid.

Solidaritee are a great organisation to support to as they donate to local partner organisations dealing with the refugee crisis on the ground. Since registering as a charity, they have given out more than £400,00 in grants to grassroots NGOs providing legal and psychological support to refugees and asylum seekers. They work with local partner organisations providing empowering, lasting forms of support. They carefully vet all of their partners to make sure that they're accountable to those most impacted by their work, are spending their money efficiently, and have excellent safeguarding mechanisms in place
