Sussex University Mens Rugby Team are supporting the RFU Injured Players Foundation by taking on the 2020 Brighton Half Marathon and fundraising throughout the 19-20 season with the aim to raise £15,000!

Story

As a new Member of Sussex Men's Rugby I have been introduced to the amazing fund raising and charity work that the club does. In Feburary 2020 sixty members from the club including myself will be running the Brighton Half Marathon to raise money for the Injured Players Foundation. Whilst rugby is a great sport and one we all love, it is also very injury prone so everytime we walk onto the pitch we know there is a risk of a life changing injury. The IPF aid research into severe brain and spinal injuries sustained in sport.

This year we at Sussex Men's Rugby are looking to reach our highest total ever of £15,000 in order to reach a staggering £50,000 in the last 5 years. Any donations large or small would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.
