I am currently going through a spiritual period where i am trying to become a good person in general, and a better muslim in particular. Im my attempt to achieve the preceding, i have made a vow to my self that i will change my life style.
Accordingly, my vow will involve abstaining from doing the 2 things i do best, LYING & SWEARING. This means NO SLY COMMENTS, NO OFFENSIVE JOKES, NO ROAD RAGE, NO BAD MOUTHING PEOPLE, NO BAD MOUTHING IN GENERAL, NO WHITE LIES, AND NO HALF TRUTHS, and simply wash my mouth from any swear words or lies i have ever learnt. My attempt will take place over the next 12 months.
To make things more reasonable and realistic, part of my vow will be that for every time i swear, make an offensive comment or lie, 5 GBP will be deposited in the fundraiser by myself as a punishment for breaking my vows. I will only be able to do this through your donations, so please dig into those pockets of yours and wish me luck, and next time i see you, i promise i will thank you and utter the loveliest of words to your kindselves.
