Every child deserves the chance to have a childhood and the opportunity to build a brighter future, do we not agree? For many of the 140 million orphans worldwide, this is simply out of reach. Penny Appeal's OrphanKind project are caring for thousands of orphaned children, making sure they have nutritious meals, clothes, healthcare, an education and a dedicated guardian - all in a loving and caring home. 

The Islamic Society are fundraising for these beloved children all around the world on behalf of the OrphanKind appeal to help provide the support they need. For just £15, you could support an orphan for a whole month. For £180, you could support an orphan for a whole year, providing them with the things listed above and MUCH MORE, alhumdulillah. 

Our beloved Prophet Muhammad SAW said: 

"I and the person who looks after an orphan and provides for him, will be in Paradise like this," putting his index and middle fingers together. Sahih al-Bukhari, Book 78, Hadith 36.

Do we not want to be of those close to our beloved Prophet SAW in Paradise? Of course we do! So let us come together and reach deep within our metaphorical pockets and donate generously towards this noble cause.  May Allah SWT accept it from all of us and grant us all Jannatul-Firdows because of it.
