Story
Hello friends !
I turned 40 earlier this year and set myself a challenge to complete my first half marathon during 2021. I have done a few 5k and 10k events in the past but a half marathon is a real challenge!
I have registered for the Clonakilty half marathon taking place at the end of November and my training plan is well underway. I'm asking for you please to support my efforts to raise money for the NMH foundation at Holles St.
Some of you may know that I was born very premature - at just 25weeks - in March 1981. I have always known that I owe my life to the excellent medical care I received in unit 8 during those early days, weeks and months. I've since had my own three babies in holles street and while thankfully none needed NICU care, I am so grateful for how well I was looked after during my pregnancies.
I really appreciate your support of my efforts and thank you most sincerely for any and all donations!
Orla
