As you may know raising awareness for the fight against cancer is a cause very close to my family's heart, more recently Bowel Cancer. I thought it was time I did my bit to help so I have entered the Runher 10k Challenge at Stormont to try and raise as much cash as possible!

I have set my target for at least £300 as this could pay for six hours of specialist, confidential phone and email support from the nurses who provide the Bowel Cancer Information and Support Service. The free phone service has been running successfully for ten years and is a lifeline for many people affected by the disease.

Every penny raised in Northern Ireland stays here in Northern Ireland so you will be directly helping to improve the lives of the people here fighting this horrible disease.
