Story
As many of you know I have had personal experience of the amazing help and support that Marie Curie offer.
First when my amazing Colette was ill and they offered nursing care at home and were ultimately there when she passed away on Christmas day 2010. Secondly when my mum was diagnosed and spent a number of weeks in their Belfast hospice which offered respite for both her and my dad.
I have completed and raised money for a number of treks for Marie Curie, each of which have also been of help to me personally.
This time I am dragging along Emma who has always supported me with my past but has also experienced loss due to cancer.
To put in perspective what your donation can help with,
£20 pays for one hour of vital nursing care at home for someone living with a terminal illness
£90 will pay for half an evening's care when someone most needs it
£180 provides nine hours of nursing support in someone's home through the night.
Thankyou for taking the time to read our story and thankyou for any donation as every penny of it will make a difference to someone in need.
