Story
4 of us have decided organising our own walk to Brighton from Richmond to complete 100km in aid of charities that are very close to our hearts. Before thinking about the logistics, we thought this was a great idea so let's hope we don't get lost, it doesn't rain, we don't kill each other and we wear in the hiking boots in in time!
Aoife and Cappy are fundraising for the mental health charity Mind which is an amazing cause and we would be very grateful that any donations be split across the 2 charities. https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/eefsandpembles
We will be completing 75km of the walk on day 1 (as the only place to stay on route was at that point rather than thinking that was achievable...) and we will complete the walk the following day finishing with a dip in Brighton beach and some bubbles I'm sure after the approx 22 hours. The route brings us through the ups and downs of the south downs and looks beautiful but we have some map reading skills to learn before October 1st.
Leo and I have chosen to donate money to Cancer Research UK as improving Cancer treatment and care is incredibly important to us, both in our careers and in memory of both our incredible parents.
This will definitely be a challenge but we really appreciate every single donation. It is am amazing cause and I will send lots of pictures of our miserable faces from mile 5 :)
