Supporting people in need by developing and deploying manual washing machines.

Story

The Washing Machine Project is very close to our hearts as it has been set up by our Uncle Nav. He is helping disadvantage families around the world by providing them with sustainable manual washing machines, which helps ease the burden for lots of women and young girls from hand washing their clothes across Asia, Africa and Middle East.

To some of us hand washing clothes may seem like a simple task but when you have to do it everyday it causes health problems such as back, joint pains and skin irritation. It also prevents many women and young girls from earning a livelihood or being at school as they spend hours handwashing clothes.

On Sunday 22nd May, we will be running (and maybe a little walking) 5k at the GX fun run to help raise money for this fantastic initiative. We would really appreciate if you could help us by donating to this great cause.
