Inspired by the dire circumstances a fellow SciFi fan found himself in, I have dedicated myself to fundraising for Action Cancer . They're running a number of sponsored challenges in the coming year, and depending on how much money I can raise I plan to complete at least one.

I'm planning to complete a sponsored trek, hopefully a 10-day Trek in the Tropics. As a build-up I'm going to do some practice hikes, such as the Giant's Causeway and possibly even Ben Nevis !
