Story

Described as one of the finest entrances to a botanical garden anywhere in the world, the magnificent 156-year-old Redwood Avenue at Benmore Botanic Garden, on Scotlands west coast, is in desperate need of innovative actions or risk being lost to the nation through climate change and disease.

Since the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh will be celebrating its 350th anniversary in 2020, I am setting my fundraising goal for £350.

Help us save Benmore's iconic Giant Redwood Avenue. Your support will enable us to carry out much-needed drainage and decompaction work to protect these beautiful trees for generations to come.
