On Friday 13th July, 5 members of the Oomph! team are doing the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge. There are nearly 2 million care workers in the UK, contributing to one of Britain’s largest workforces, and caring for some of the most vulnerable people in our society.For care workers, early starts, long hours and mentally draining work are part and parcel of the job. As a result, it’s all too easy for illness, or other unforeseen circumstances, to push them beyond their financial limits. As a country, we depend on our care workers to be there for us on our rainy day. The Care Workers Charity is there for them on theirs.
