I am running in The Virgin Sport British 10k to help support UN Women’s fantastic work in political access and empowerment of women and directly help further their work towards breaking down the legal, social and cultural barriers preventing women from voting worldwide.

A bit about me: 

I have a strong passion for humanitarian work. I have previously worked in my local council as a Youth Quality assessor. This role allowed me to improve youth club provisions in my local area and I am currently a Young Researcher for the National Children’s Bureau.

I am interested in supporting international development and have also completed shadowing work experience at the Department for International Development, Whitehall London. The experience allowed me to gain an in-depth knowledge of the running of the department for international development as well as liaise with Justine Green MP and Baroness Verma, which allowed me to learn and experience first-hand what the role entailed.
