Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

So.....I’ve dusted myself down after Brussels 2019 and will be taking part in the Grand Depart Classic, riding the whole of the first road stage of the 2021 Tour de France, the week before the pros. It will be 187km of hills, (I hate hills!) blood, sweat and tears. The time limit to complete the course is 12 hours.

I’ve signed up to exorcise some demons from my last ride and in order to help save men’s lives, but I need your help.

Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men. Every hour one man dies from prostate cancer – that's more than 10,800 men every year. 1 in 8 men will get prostate cancer in their lifetime. Ignoring prostate cancer won't beat it. Prostate Cancer UK has a simple ambition – to stop men dying from prostate cancer. Through shifting the science over the next 10 years to focus on radical improvements in diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and support, we will stop prostate cancer being a killer.Your donation will make an impact, so please see this as your chance to do something amazing.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Merci beaucoup,
Mark
