Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

On Wednesday 21st October the government rejected a motion to offer free school meals during holidays until Easter 2021. Both Gary and I were really saddened by this decision and we have been moved to organise a fundraiser on 19th December to raise money for FareShare, the charity that Marcus Rashford supports which helps get food to vulnerable children and families.

Since we started this fundraiser the Government has made a U-turn and we’re pleased to hear they will provide a Covid winter grant scheme to support vulnerable families in England and an extension of the holiday activities and food programme to the Easter, summer and Christmas breaks next year.

We will however continue with our plan is to join with other yoga teachers & holistic therapists to host a day of mindful & heartfelt practices which can be accessed in person or virtually. These will include yoga practices, guided relaxations, meditations, reflexology & more.
