Cassie, Alice and Clair do London to Paris

Cassie, Alice and Clair do London to Paris · 18 June 2015
Thanks for visiting our fundraising page!
On 11th June we are cycling from London to Paris to raise money for the charity Legs4Africa. It's a long way and (potentially foolishly) we decided to do it alone and organise everything ourselves, so all the money raised will go directly to the charity. So we have Ali and Jenny driving along behind as our support vehicle. None of us know much about bikes (yet) and none of us have ever done a long cycle (yet) so this is going to be a bit of a challenge. You can follow our updates on twitter here:

Legs4Africa is an incredible charity that take used prosthetic legs, that would otherwise be binned here in the UK because they cannot be reused, and ships them over the Africa to people who have had an amputation.
I had my right foot amputated six months ago and moan about it sometimes - I can't get a leg for something, I have to wait months before I can have that, etc. but I get what I need to walk (and much more). I am so, so lucky that I live in a country with a health service that gives me the opportunities to do whatever I want to do, opening up my world. This is something that the people receiving these spare legs don't have. Legs4Africa is changing that and allowing people in Africa to get back on their feet, one leg at a time. I want to raise money to give other people a shot at getting their lives back and getting back on their feet too.

Any donations, no matter how small, will be greatly appreciated! (And any tips or advice too...)
Thank you!!
