Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. Well, one of three actually – you can’t expect five girls to make a decision that easily! With so many good causes to support, we couldn’t decide on one charity so we’ve chosen three that are close to our hearts – the Alzheimer’s Society, Breast Cancer Research (www.justgiving.com/oneheckofahill-cancer) and Help For Heroes (www.justgiving.com/oneheckofahill-heroes)

There’s one thing we have managed to agree on and that’s to climb Mount Kilimanjaro to raise money for these fantastic charities. This September, we’ll be stretching our calves, lacing our walking boots and handing our heavy bags over to someone else to carry as we climb 19,340 feet to the top of Africa’s highest peak and we would be immensely grateful for your support.

Dementia currently affects 750,000 people in the UK and by 2025, the number is expected to rise to over a million. The Alzheimer’s Society does an incredible job to support sufferers and their families through this heartbreaking illness, while their research programme strives to improve treatment and ultimately, to find a cure.

Please donate as much as you feel able – loose change, bank notes and major credit cards accepted! And if you’re as indecisive as us, we’d be so grateful if you could stop by our other charities, Breast Cancer Care and Help for Heroes.
