One Day 2022

Deutsche Bank is raising money for MQ Mental Health Research

One Day 2022 · 5 September 2022

MQ Mental Health Research is a charity formed to support research into mental illness. By funding research, we will be able to understand mental illness, improve current treatments, identify new ones and transform the lives of those affected: over 15 million in the UK. Better is possible.

Story

One Day gives all Deutsche Bank UK employees the opportunity to donate a day's salary to our Charity of the Year, MQ Mental Health Research.

All donations from permanent and contingent workers will be matched outside of usual allowances. Enabling your impact to go further, at no extra cost to you.

When donating, please use your Deutsche Bank email address and ensure that you select you are happy to be contacted by Deutsche Bank. If you do not share your Deutsche Bank email address we will not be able to match your donation. Your email address will only be used for matched giving purposes.

1 in 4 of us will be affected by some form of mental illness during our lifetime.

Here in the UK and all over the world, people with conditions such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder and schizophrenia are unable to access the support they need. Health services are under-resourced, causing diagnosis to take too long and offering limited treatment options.

Research can change this.

Research proves what works and what doesn't for mental health. Our UK Charity of the Year, MQ Mental Health Research, is finding new solutions for people living with mental illnesses through ground-breaking research. It is the only UK charity exclusively funding scientific research so that mental illness can be better understood, effectively treated and ultimately one day prevented.

Donate now and help turn research into results for the millions of people living with mental health conditions.
