One of the inspirations for writing ‘Once Lost’ was to use the Edinburgh Fringe as a platform to raise awareness of dementia in a unique way. As Scotland’s national dementia charity, Alzheimer’s Scotland provide support to carers and families as well as those who live with dementia. We are supporting this charity because we think it is vital to acknowledge the hardship dementia creates both within the people surrounding dementia and the illness itself.
