Hi all, I'm going to take part in the three peak challenge where i will be trekking over the famous Yorkshire 3 Peaks within a 12 hour period. These peaks form part of the Pennine range and encircle the head of the valley of the River Ribble in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. It is a very scenic route with spectacular views over the Yorkshire countryside. This challenge should not be taken lightly as the terrain is extremely varied involving some steep ascents and descents. In total I will be walking for approximately 12 hours and covering 24 miles. This is in aid to raise money to help local community projects from helping children with disabilities to providing social activities for the elderly all over the UK.
Thank you
