Story
On Sunday 20th July I will be riding the Etape du tour which is actually the Tour de France open day for amateur riders. It takes place on the rest day of the Tour de France. I will be riding stage 18 which is 91 miles distance with a 19 mile, 2000 metre climb in the middle and a 10 mile, 1500 metre climb to finish.
Just to make things even more difficult I manage to tear my cartilage and needed an op a few months ago so I was 8 weeks behind my training schedule. I have had to go full pelt to get fit so I could do this and training is going well. I’ve had some brutal training rides and the 6 pack is coming along nicely LOL.
I am trying to raise as much money as I can for the Cassandra Learning Centre who put in a lot of good work raising the awareness of domestic violence around teenagers and young people. Like a lot of small charities they are not funded for their work so can you Sponsor me to ride for them. Please! Please! Please!
