Caritas Cornerstone Day Centre provides practical help and intensive 1:1 support to people that are street homeless or sofa-surfing, and those without the security of a permanent home. The Big Sleep Out is our main fundraising event. It provides an opportunity to 'step into the shoes' and experience just a fraction of what it might feel like to sleep rough for just one night.

Our Lady of the Rosary have supported Cornerstone for many years. On Friday 17th September, staff and pupils from Year 5 and 6, will join this annual fundraising event. The group will sleep in the school grounds to raise funds for Cornerstone. All those participating will have a greater understanding of how it feels to be homeless from their first-hand experiences. Our Lady's last joined the event in 2019 and raised £1857.50.
