I am running a minimum of 10 kilometres each day for 365 days- that will be a total of 3650Km or 2268 miles at the end of 2018. This is all to create awareness whilst also raising donations to support/fund research for Alzheimer's Research UK. Alzheimer's is a common disease within the UK which causes dementia and can overlap with other diseases such as depression. It is a disease inhabiting two thirds of elderly people yet with no cure it is becoming a more frequent illness. It is a disease close to my family as my mother has progressive Alzheimer's and it's hard for those around her to watch and unable to help. Your donations will contribute to funding for research to hopefully find a cure one day but in the mean time give support and care to those affected and their family members.
