Fowler Welch have chosen the Child Brain Injury Trust as their Charity of the year. Over the next 12 months, they will be raising awareness and fundraising for CBIT with events and initiatives supported by their local Charity champions.

Story

This year I'm going to be running the Rutland Water Marathon for the Child Brain Injury Trust!

Last year I completed my first marathon, where i ran for Cancer Research this UK. I found the experience to be incredibly rewarding and felt very proud to be able to give back to charity. I also tremendously enjoyed my training regime and the feeling of accomplishment at the finish line.

At Fowler Welch, where I have been working in HR for the past 9 months, our chosen Charity for the year is CBIT. Who offer amazing services and support for children and families who have suffered traumatic events leading to Brain Injury.

This charity has played a large role for one Fowler Welch colleague in particular, who's story I have attached below.

I will be posting my runs and progress on this page regularly.

Any support or donations would be greatly appreciated, for an amazing cause.
