Most Augusts, Everybody Wins! friends & community join the Race to the Top of Vermont to keep children reading with their mentors, no matter what. This year, we are rebuilding after the worst flood in Montpelier history.

Story

I'm walking up Mt. Mansfield on August 28 to help children read with their mentors in 2023-24.I have seen firsthand the joy of children with their mentors and the power of reading aloud to children. Please help me get children and their mentors off to a good start this fall!

This year, Everybody Wins! VT needs more help, given the flooding in Vermont and the destruction of its headquarters in downtown Montpelier. Please consider making a gift today, to help the organization during this incredibly challenging time.

About the charity

In Everybody Wins!, each child is matched with a safe, caring, adult volunteer who meets with them one-on-one each week over lunch at school to read stories and have conversations. Over 600 Everybody Wins! volunteers read with children each year in Vermont and NH.
