Story
Hi my name is Ollie and i am 9 years old. Recently at school and home I have been learning about the first and second world war. It has been really interesting but also incredibly sad learning about what soldiers went through out on the front line and also what life was like for the family and country they had to leave behind.
With remembrance day coming i wanted to do something to help raise money for the British Legion. I really enjoy painting and had the idea to create and sell a rememberance day painting to raise some money for the poppy appeal. Half of the picture portrays no mans land in flanders field during ww1 and the other half shows flanders field now full of poppies. I have titled the painting 'We must never forget their sacrifice, so we dont repeat the past'
For a donation of £2 you will be given a raffle ticket number. Of course you can buy more than one ticket.
On friday 12th November, A winner will be selected by a random number generator to make it as fair as possible. The winner will receive my acrylic painting to have at home or to donate to hang in my school or somewhere else.
Thank you so much for helping this great charity donation page will stay open untill 16th november
