Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Hello,
My name is Oliver, aka Ollie onion! Since I was 5, I have been raising money for ellenor hospice by doing various challenges....
When I was 5 we cycled 650 miles from the lowest point to the highest point of the british isles )Holmefen to Ben Nevis then climbed Ben Nevis
When I was 6 we rowed 165 miles along the Thames in a 100 yr old canadian canoe, from Cricklade to London through 7 counties
When I was 7 we cycled 800 miles through 5 capitals! We cycled from Edingburgh to Belfast to Dublin to Cardiff to London.
We have managed to complete all of our challenges in 10 days which has seem to set a presedence!!
This years challenge we will be walking from St Bees on the irish sea, lake district walking across Scalfel Pike, the highest mountain in England to the edge of Lake Windermere, from there we will swim across Lake Windermere, the largest lake in England. From there we will will then cycle from Windermere across the dales, penines and the north yorkshire moors via Rosedale Chimney, so named due to its steepness. The steepest road in England 33 degrees.....hopefully without stopping then onto the finish at Robin Hoods Bay.
All in all its a 50 mile walk, 1 mile swim and 150 mile bike ride.
Its all self funded so every single penny raised goes straight to the ellenor xx
