I don't understand homelessness.  It's complicated and horrible.  I've met and worked with lots of people who have been (and may still be) homeless.  I've visited hostels, shelters, bed and breakfasts and I've met professionals who work to alleviate it, I've met volunteers who work day and night only to provide meals, care, shelter.  I still don't understand it but I have realised that most people aren't there by choice and it's no way to live your life - either going from one temporary accommodation to another, or simple having nothing and nowhere to stay.  It certainly isn't something a person can get out of, or change, on their own.  

The CEO sleepout will raise money specifically for a number of Teesside Charities.  The challenge isn't going to go away anytime soon and people just need help - day in and day out to be able to live, survive and to move on.  I'm trying to raise £800 and would really appreciate any contributions.  Thanks.
