I feel so lucky to have St Helier Hospital on our doorstep.....

My family and I have visited the hospital countless times over the years.  Most visits have been routine appointments but several have included mad dashes to A&E where the care we have received has been second to none.

Both of my sons spent the first few days of their lives at St Helier. My father spent his last days on the Renal ward. The hospital is special to our family.

Now more than ever our hospitals need our support to ensure they can deliver the healthcare we are so fortunate to have access to.

Monday’s walk will be our small contribution to supporting St Helier and raising awareness of the funding challenges the NHS faces.
