Story
Dear All,
Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
On the 24th October 2010 we will be competing in the Bupa Great South Run (Portsmouth),
We will ALL be training extremely hard, so that we don't embarrass ourselves! and complete the 16K (10 Mile) run in a respectable time!
We are running in aid of the charity mind (A Mental Health and Depression Charity) and endeavour to raise over £1000.00.
Let me provide the incentives to why we have chosen to do this:
As family and some close friends know, In March 2006 my mother sadly took her own life, providing the main incentive to why I am running for this charity.
Secondly and on a lighter note - we all feel in need of a challenge this summer and the great south run seemed like the perfect event to compete in.
The only thing that is left to say is- Please sponsor and help us reach our target!
The money raised is going to a fantastic cause and your support is very much appreciated.

As Ollie has mentioned above this will be a good challenge for us;
- Firstly to see how much we can raise for the charity mind.
- Secondly to see what shape we are actually in after probably 'enjoying' our placement years too much.
I look forward to take part in my first major running event and hopefully this will be the first of many. I hope all of those lunch time runs at Bupa have paid off......... we will have to see.
Please give generously. All donations will be greatly received.
Thanks,
Tom Setterfield

Hi All, As already mentioned above by Tom & Ollie we are all running for a really great cause, which is the charity Mind. We would really appreciate it if you could get behind us and spare anything you can to help us reach our target. Which in turn will help Mind work towards helping people to overcome many types of mental health problems such as depression, eating disorders, sexual abuse and many more. We are all working our socks off at present and can't wait for the run now with only 2 months left till the start date. And we could really do with as much support from you as possible, so please spread the word to your friends and family about our run and the charity Mind. To help us reach our target and to help Mind continue the great work they're doing, giving people piece of mind. Many thanksTom Martin
