I am a 17 year old student living Sheffield and am currently at King Ecgbert School sixth form. Sport is a massive part of my life! From an early age I have been interested in all different sports and am training full time to be a top squash and racketball player! However, I enjoy running and climbing just as much as it is nice to get outdoors from time to time!

On May 12th 2013 I am running in the Sheffield Half Marathon. This is a 13.1 mile run round Sheffield which starts at 9am... Usually way too early for me on a sunday morning! I hope to achieve around 1:25 hrs which will hopefully put me around the top 50 competitors.

On Saturday the 8th June I am attempting to do the 3 Peaks Challenge. This involves climbing up the 3 biggest mountains in Britain... Ben Nevis (Scotland), Scar Fell Pike (England) & Mount Snowdon (Wales) All within 24 hours! A lot of climbing and a lot of driving! Probably a lot of water and food consuming as well :)

Over the next few months building up to these two challenges, I will be doing extreme amounts of training and will upload pictures and videos along the way to keep you posted and updated with how my progress is going, making sure that I reach my goal!

For me this is an amazing charity. Magic Moments is all about giving kids with terminally ill diseases and days are numbered, the opportunity to have one last piece of enjoyment out of their short lives. Magic Moments gives these children the chance to have a once in a lifetime experience. This could be a holiday to a place they have always wanted to go, do a special activity that they have always wanted to partake in or meet a special celebrity by who meeting them would make their world.

Unlike many over charity's you can see that your donations make a massive difference to someone special. It is impossible to imagine what a child with a terminally ill disease is going through so by giving them one last moment of enjoyment, even if it is just for one precious second is something that really inspires me and motivates me to do this challenge! I believe and I am sure that you will agree that it would be amazing to put a smile back on the face of a child and their familly after all they have been through.
