Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a lifelong condition that affects the brain and nerves. With more than 100,000 people suffering from MS in the UK alone. This condition is progressive and debilitating for those living with MS. There is lots of research being carried out into possible treatments and remedies however without continued financial support this cannot be continued.
On the 12th September, I will be embarking on an challenging 390 kilometre solo cycle from Macclesfield to Edinburgh in one ride. I will be raising money for the MS society and in memory of my Grandad who died prematurely at the age of 38, due to complications from suffering from MS, before I got the chance to meet him. Through fundraising for the MS society, I hope to contribute to the great work which the MS society carries out, supporting those affected by MS and the wider social complications which this condition causes. Working towards the vision of a world free from the effects of MS.
