Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On the 30 September, my girlfriend Emma-Louise and I will be taking on the trip of a lifetime for the British Heart Foundation (BHF).
This adventure is going to be tough. We will be climbing 4,600ft over 5 days, and walking up to 9 hours a day.
We will be experiencing Peruvian life by trekking the Inca Trail to the iconic Machu Picchu – one of the most beautiful sights on the planet. And we cannot wait.
For every mile I walk, I will be raising money for The Miles Frost Fund, in partnership with the BHF, which will help make genetic testing available to all families affected by the inherited heart condition hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM).
Miles Frost died suddenly of HCM in July 2015, aged just 31. Miles' death devastated his family and friends and it was made all the more painful when they were told Miles probably inherited the condition from his father, Sir David Frost.
Miles' brother, George, is an incredibly close friend of mine and I had the fortune of meeting Miles a number of times. He was one of the kindest, positive, warmest and funny people I have ever known.
The Miles Frost Fund will help reduce the number of people going through the pain of losing a loved one to deadly conditions like HCM, by making sure more people are diagnosed so it can be treated before it's too late.

A big thank you to everyone who’s supported me so far as I prepare to lace up my trekking boots for this ten-day challenge. But if you could spare a few pounds, I would really appreciate it – every penny really does make a difference.
