In June of last year my grandad Paul and my grandad Laurie were both diagnosed with terminal cancer and a short time later we lost them both on the 4th of December, I’m going to be running the Great North Run in order to honour their lives and raise money for an amazing charity which supported them both through their illnesses. I’m raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support as they provided such care and comfort to my grandads in their last months, the work they do is so important to those in need so I would like to raise money to support them in continuing providing this care.
