Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Whilst in the pool at school I decided to do a River Swim to raise funds for spinal injuries.  My uncle was paralysed 4 years ago and it is something that is close to my heart.  Through my uncle I heard about The Back-Up Trust.  An amazing charity which enables people with spinal injuries to enjoy activities they would have carried out before their accidents.  It also focuses on providing courses in wheelchair skills thus improving confidence and independence.  The Charity works with people of all ages, backgrounds and levels of injury.  For example just £25 will pay for a wheelchair skills session for one person.

I will be swimming 3 km on the 10th August.  The swim will take place in the River Avon and finish at the mouth of Christchurch Harbour.
