I am highly honored and blessed to have been chosen and selected by Team Sense to participate in the 2020 London Marathon. 

With this endeavor, I will be able to accomplish two goals

1. Become one step closer to finishing the Abbott World Major Marathons.

2. Help Raise money for a worthy cause. 

I started to run for the first time in my life after the birth of my twins in 2013 as a way to live a healthy lifestyle and avoid the dangers of high blood pressure  and through faith, the Lord has allowed me to do amazing things in my journey. The London Marathon will be my 6th full marathon and the 4th out of the 6 World Major Marathons (I have successfully completed NYC, Berlin and Chicago)

Team Sense is a national charity that supports people with complex communication needs, including those who are deafblind, to be understood, connected and valued. As a social worker, I know the importance of being able to be connected via communication and the barriers that can lie when there is a disconnect. They are there for every person who faces communication barriers in a world that relies on being able to see and hear well to be connected. Together, we can unlock barriers to communication so no one is isolated, left out or unable to fulfill their potential.

Friends and family, I ask for your support in helping my dream become a reality while supporting an organization that helps individuals to reach their highest potential.It is an absolute privilege to use the gift and love that God gave me of running to help others in need.
