In March 2022, I am running 250km in the Sri Lankan jungle. This covers the distance of 6 marathons across 5 days in 30 degree heat and 90% humidity. This will by far be one of the toughest personal challenges I have ever undertaken and will push me to discover new limits both physically and mentally.
Returning from Sri Lanka, I will switch my training focus to increasing speed for the London Marathon in October, which I will be running for St Michael's Fellowship.
Every year St Michael's help hundreds of children to have a better start in life by working directly with families. We help disadvantaged parents to build their confidence and skills to give their child a brighter future. We help the family to become part of their community. We're a local charity but our work with children and families has national influence.
Any donations to support myself and St Michael's Fellowship would be hugely appreciated and give me that extra bit of motivation to keep putting one foot in front of the other!
