Story
Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!
In March 2016 I will be trekking 200km across the Arctic circle through snow and ice with my own team of huskies, camping in temperatures as low as -40 degrees.
This difficult challenge is in aid of Make A Wish Foundation.
Also for this charity I will be running the Brighton Marathon 10K in April.
Make A Wish Foundation is brilliant charity that grants magical wishes to children and young people who are fighting life threatening illnesses. These wishes not only provide children and their families with amazing memories but give parents the chance to see their children having the time of their lives during what would normally be the most difficult times.
Since 1986 Make A Wish Foundation have granted over 9,000 wishes which includes Ben's wish to meet his favourite Disney characters. Below is a link showing the moment he received the news his wish would come true

When Ben was 10 months old, he was diagnosed with Left Sided Hemiplegia, which means the left side of his body is weak and he has little control over it. At 22 months, the doctors told his family he also had epilepsy – his seizures are frequent and severe. His ADHD, autism and learning difficulties often make day to day life tough. - See more about Ben's story and others at: https://www.make-a-wish.org.uk/wishes/stories/the-memories-transport-ben-to-a-happy-place#sthash.xMqs81Da.dpuf
With your help more children with life threatening illnesses can experience their wishes coming true.
Thank you!
