We help stroke survivors to find strength through support.

Story

Back in 2017, our beautiful Nana aka Queenie J suffererd from a major stroke which caused short term speech loss and physical movement in the right side of her body. Despite intense physiotherapy, sadly my Nan has come wheelchair bound and has not been able to walk ever since.

My Nan was extremely active, mobile and still driving at the age of 82. She now has 24/7 care and a new living situation in a care home. However, this stroke affected my Nan within a matter of hours, changing hers and my family’ lives. Nevertheless, she has not lost her sense of humour and witty ways. She will always be the rock of our family!

Delayed by almost 2 years, I will run 10k in London and would appreciate any donations towards a charity that helps care and assist others, and their loved ones in similar situations. A charity which invests into vital research in stroke prevention and stroke after care.

Thank you x x x
