In memory of the life of Debbie McCaw. 

Mum was always a bit of a rebel, passionate about political causes and spent her career fighting for justice. When not in work she enjoyed spending time with her dearest friends and family, walking her dogs and enjoying a glass of champagne. She and my dad loved to travel and they went on many adventures together.

One of the biggest changes in mums life was when my dad developed dementia. I know it was incredibly difficult for her too, seeing and caring for a loved one who had dementia. She told me when they met, she knew they’d spend the rest of their lives together and now neither of them have to live without one another.

I know she wouldn’t want anyone else to have to experience or care for a loved one with dementia so for those who want to, we’re asking for donations to Alzheimer’s Research,  who are the leading dementia researchers in the UK, dedicated to causes, diagnosis, prevention, treatment and cure.
